6mmCustoms LLC ("6mmCustoms", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
- Account info: name, email, and (optionally) phone, when you create an account or submit a quote.
- Order info: shipping address, replica details, and service notes you submit.
- Payment info: processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed, timestamps) to operate and improve the site and to detect abuse.
- Waiver records: if you accept a liability or education waiver, we log the acceptance with a timestamp and your account ID.
How We Use It
- To respond to quote requests and fulfill orders.
- To communicate about your build status, shipping, and warranty matters.
- To keep the site secure and improve performance.
- To meet our tax, accounting, and warranty record-keeping obligations.
- With your consent, to send occasional product or build-release updates.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers required to operate the business, including:
- Stripe — payment processing
- UPS and USPS — shipping
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file hosting
- Lovable / Cloudflare — website hosting and email delivery
- Google reCAPTCHA / OAuth (only when you choose "Sign in with Google")
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and processes data only on our instructions or as needed to deliver their service.
Data Retention
We keep account and quote records while your account is active. Completed quote and order records are automatically anonymized after 2 years (name, email, phone, and free-text notes are removed; the underlying service history is retained for warranty and tax reasons). You can also request deletion at any time — see "Your Rights" below.
Children
The site and all services are intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Customer data is stored in an access-controlled Postgres database with row-level security and is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Admin accounts require two-factor authentication. No system is 100% secure; if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable state law.
Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Access / download a copy of the data we hold about you — sign in and use the "Download my data" button on your account page.
- Correct your profile information directly on the account page.
- Delete your account using the "Delete my account" button on the account page, or by contacting us.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain your cart. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because these cookies are essential, no consent is required, but we display a notice the first time you visit.
Changes
We may update this policy as our business or applicable law changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
